How we count your orders

Your count starts on your billing date, not on the 1st. It rolls forward on its own.

WHEN YOUR MONTH STARTSThe second you subscribedYour count runs in 30-day periods that start on your billing date. If you started at 11:14 on the 24th, your count resets 30 days later at 11:14, and again every 30 days after that.
WHAT HAPPENS ON ANNUALYou still get your full monthly countPaying for a year does not mean 750 orders for the year. It means 750 a month, twelve times.
WHAT COUNTS AS AN ORDEREach order once, and only onceA retried webhook, a duplicate delivery, or the same order arriving twice does not cost you a second order.

What happens if you go over

Your billing page shows it comingThe usage meter on your billing page shows Near limit at 80 percent of your plan's orders. A banner on your dashboard appears once you reach or pass the limit.
Your store does not stopOrders keep coming in. Your customers keep being able to fix and edit them. Nothing about your storefront changes.
Address checking pausesNew orders are recorded as not checked, and marked that way honestly, until your month rolls over or you move up a plan.

Shopify never moves you up a plan on its own, and neither do we. Going over costs you address checking, not money you did not agree to.

How much does Tacey cost?
Six plans, priced only by how many orders you send through Tacey in a month. Starter is $29 a month for 750 orders, and High Volume is $399 a month for 20,000 orders, with four plans in between. Annual billing is ten months for twelve. Every plan includes everything Tacey does.
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan has a 14-day free trial instead, and you are not asked for anything to start it that Shopify has not already got.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, monthly or annual. Orders during the trial count toward the plan's monthly order allowance.
Do I get fewer features on the cheapest plan?
No. Starter is the same product as High Volume. The only difference is how many orders a month you can send through it.
Does Tacey charge extra for address checking, reminders, order merge, the free gift or recommended products?
No. Address checking, order editing, a free gift and recommended products, pre-ship reminders and order merge are all included in every plan. Plans differ only by how many orders a month you send through Tacey.
Does Tacey work on every Shopify plan?
Tacey does not need Shopify Plus. Its tools sit on the thank you page and the order status page, not inside Shopify checkout, so they do not use the parts of checkout that Shopify limits to Plus. Which Tacey plan you pick depends only on your monthly order volume.
What counts as an order?
Each order once, and only once. A retried webhook or the same order arriving twice does not cost you a second order, and merging two orders never creates a new one.
How do you count a month?
From the moment you subscribed, rolling forward, not from the 1st. Annual plans get the same monthly count, not a yearly one.
What happens when I go over my order count?
Address checking pauses and we tell you well before it does. Your orders and your customers' edits carry on as normal.
Can I change plans?
Yes, through Shopify's own billing. An upgrade applies as soon as Shopify confirms it, and your new count applies from that moment.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Billing runs through Shopify on your existing app bill, and you can change or cancel the plan yourself at any time.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Your record stays available while the app is installed. After you uninstall, Shopify tells us to erase your data and we do.
